Visit Rajaji National Park
Rajaji National Park is one of the nearest visiting national parks in Rishikesh. Locating in the foothills of the Himalayas and spreading over 820km, the park is famous for its elephant habitat. Rajaji Park was established in 1983 by a union of three Rajaji Sanctuary, Motichur sanctuary, and Chilla Sanctuary. Its name was changed to Rajaji Tiger Reserve on 20 April 2015.
