How to Reach
By Road: Situated at the distance of 8 – 9 kms from Rishikesh Bus station is the nearest bus stop. Except this one can go by hire cab, it will take around 30min to reach the destination.
By Train: Rishikesh is the nearest railway station, which is located at 8-9 km from the waterfall. From the railway station one has to go by bus or book a taxi.
By Air: The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun located around 35 kms from the Waterfall. From the airport one can hire a cab or go by bus, it will take about an hour to reach Neer Garh waterfall.
Best time to Visit
Summer (March – May): The time from March to May would be early summer, in which the heat does not fall much, and the forest is perfect for trekking.
Monsoon (Mat – September): The time from May to September is full of rain, and there is a risk of land slipping; traveling can be troublesome. At this time, avoid going waterfall trekking.
Winter (October – February): The months from October to February are the winter months. It is freezing in the mountains, and the weather becomes pleasant, which is a good time for sightseeing and trekking. Don’t forget to carry woolen clothes.
