Kunjapuri Temple is a holy place and a symbol of unwavering faith and reverence of the devotees. The Sacred Temple is situated at the height of 1676 meters on the hills of Uttarakhand. It is also known as one of the 52 Shaktipeeths of Uttarakhand.
It is considered that when Lord Shiva was walking in the sky carrying the burnt body of Goddess Sati, Goddess Sati’s chest was cut off. That is, part of the Kunj had fallen. Hence it is known as Mata Kunjapuri Shaktipeeth. Kunjapuri Devi Temple also offers picturesque views of the snow-capped mountains and peaks like Swarg Rohini, Gangotri, Bandarpunch, and Chaukhamba.
Trek Overview
Warm welcome on arrival at camp. Traditions Welcome Drink will be served.
